[android tablet] No Subtitles on ITVPlayer or BBC iPlayer

I have a Samsung Galaxy Pro tablet and can't get subtitles on any of their apps that play UK TV

 

Tried using Internet browser and the websites for ITV and BBC

 

Tried the same with Chrome app, Puffin and Dolphin browsers

 

Any ideas ??

Subtitles work for me in the iPlayer app.
