rdweb 2012 new certificate problems

Server 2012 R2 rdweb running sims remote app all working ok for the last year - the wildcard certificate expired - unable to renew as company I got from not there any more.

Got new wildcard certificate off go daddy - all installed ok and trusted under RD web access, Rd gateway, RD connection broker. Applied the certificates. They are also in personal computer store on the server and the intermediate certificate is installed. Also restarted servers the main RD gateway one and 2 other servers in collection.

When browsing to the rdweb site it is still using the old expired certificate?

What am I missing? google not providing the answer.

Do i need to republish the app?

Is there a setting somewhere else I have missed?

Any help much appreciated.

Finally solved it -will answer my own post to help others!

Launch RD gateway manager - you also have to change the certificate there despite fact it is already supposedly been changed via server manager.

When selected and applied there then all is ok.
