visioN Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Hi! I've been tasked with the following issue: We receive mail into a mailbox, Branch1. I need to then forward this mail to mailbox1 during 9-5:30, during the other hours in the day it needs to go to mailbox2. I then need to do this for all my branch mail boxes. Can I create rules on my Exchange server to do this by time? (i don't want to create client side rules / scripts, i would like them on the actual exchange server). Has anyone done this before? Thanks.
cscc Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) In EMC under Organization Configuration > Hub Transport > Transport Rules (tab) you could create a rule here to meet your criteria. And in order for it to meet time schedule requirements, have a look here: https://alanhardisty.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/schedule-a-transport-rule-to-be-enabled-or-disabled-at-a-specific-time-of-day-day-of-the-week/ Edited November 13, 2014 by cscc 1
Liam Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I have looked at this in the past and im sure it has to be client side. You can forward emails no problem, but not as granular as you wish i dont think
