Microsoft open-sources Dot Net - yes, official Mac OSX and Linux support coming soon!

You may have joked an my motation of open-source becoming more wide spread in the enterprise, but the age old argument of Microsoft would never do it has just gotten a great big hole - they've released Dot Net, as open source, on GitHub (https://github.com/aspnet) no less! No only does this mean DotNet will appear on Mac OSX and Linux (Ubuntu?), but you can also dev andriod apps out of the box using Visual Studio - AND they are still doing a free verson of VS, across the platforms.
