We currently have a permanent Data/MIS Manager position reporting to the Assistant Principal and liaising with all levels of staff and external contacts of a high achieving Academy, part of a leading federation located in Dulwich, South London

The purpose of this role is to manage the CMIS system in processing and distribution of student related data, to be responsible for accurate student profiling and database services, to undertake analysis of student performance information and to prepare reports on results of this analysis for the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, Governors, Heads of Department, other staff and external audiences. To have lead responsibility for school’s systems of assessment recording and reporting, to be the key user of Facility Admin and to undertake the inputting and scheduling of the Academy timetable in partnership with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Your duties will include: To be the Systems Manager for staff using the school’s computerised Management Information System (CMIS). Overseeing following areas: admissions, maintenance of student information, assessment and reporting, personnel, statutory returns, exams, timetable and attendance. To upload ½ term data collections onto SISRA, to be responsible for the production of the census returns, to be responsible for making and retaining backup copies of all stored student data, to ensure that all necessary upgrades are successfully run at the academy and to collate and print out annual and other reports to parents in line with academy schedules.

In order to apply it is essential you have experience working in a similar role (data manager/mis manager/ senior data officer etc) within a school environment using CMIS or SIMS. You will also need strong analytical skills, ms excel and good attention to detail
