Anyone use software called "brackets"?

Anyone use this? Brackets - The Free, Open Source Code Editor for the Web

 

Brackets is an open source code editor for web designers and front-end developers.

 

 

Does it work for standard users? Are there any downsides to allowing students to use it?

@Stonie1 - I haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet. The plan is to have a play with it over half term.

I did notice on their website that updates to the software happen every 2.5 weeks! Icon appears in the browser when there is an update. This could be a problem if admin rights are needed for the update.

 

Will post back on this thread with findings. If you could do the same would be appreciated.
