Lost property online?

Hi all,

 

I got asked a while ago to look into some sort of lost property online listing. A local school uses Moodle and justs lists their lost property on there.

 

We have a Joomla site but I can't find any extensions, I have an in house IIS server with public access so looking for maybe a open source portal solution to shove on there.

 

Basically I want something that we can individually list lost property with a photo, be able to search based on type, date found and colour etc... and for our admin team to be able to update easily.

 

Has anyone done or used anything like this?

If you already have a Joomla installation you shouldn't need any extensions to do this. Just use a category and post articles with images to this category for each item and decide where to display it on the site.

I did this but it wasn't really what they are looking for. I might make something which covers lost property specifically.
