SIMS Discover - New Year

I have been asked to create a new year in SIMS discover but can i heck remember how i did it last year.

 

I was wondering if anyone on here uses discover and knows how to do this.

Launch Sims Discover Administration Utility. Click Managing Data Transfers on left side. Then Create Data Transfer and click current year (or along those lines). Once done that go to View Transfers and should see it happening.

Thanks, so current year not last year?

Current year pulls in 2014/15 academic year. Therefore you get this years data. You can pull in last years data too so you can report on it, you should only need to do it once as that should now not change. The current years data I think needs transferring every so often as data is then not up to date? We don't really use discover except when SLT want reports in a "readable" format ie colorful charts.

I only got asked (in a situation just like you) when a member of the management team wanted to run a report off with pretty colours. Many thanks.
