fiza Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 We are looking at changing our domain name. We currently have an sch.uk name and we are going to change it to an org.uk name. We currently have Google Apps verified for use with our sch.uk name. If we buy the domain name today how do we get it verified with Google? All we will have is the domain name. It is not hosted anywhere to manipulate DNS records. Also can you transfer accounts/docs from one domain to another. There isn't much in our current google domain if we had to start again.
clareq Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I'm looking at this now - you can set up a secondary domain - not sure how you'll prove it's yours, but essentially your users will be granted a second e-mail address attached to the first, if I'm reading things correctly. 1
fiza Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 @clareq - Are you look to set up a new google domain and move things from your existing google domain? Can you post some links to the info you are looking at please?
