I'm looking for an alternative to Aruba ClearPass in terms of AAA, BYOD and Guest solution. Not worried about the wireless. DO you chaps have any recommendations?

Meraki do an MDM but that is it. You can use it across vendors though or you used to be able to anyway not sure now - I am sure someone on here will be using it and will know.

It was more the BYOD part as @jrwhitehead asked for an alternative - it wasn't supposed to be a full substitute. Sorry you do not like the website @Roberto

Meru have a product called IDM, Cloudpath is another option and iBoss is also worth considering

I would first ask why do you need Aruba clearpass in the first place?

 

Since the latest Aruba firmware was installed on our controller its incredibly easy to ban MAC addresses of any unauthorized devices.

 

We just record the MAC address of each BYOD device at first join, then ban everything else while using a captive portal as well for authentication.
