DPM2012 with Azure

i have managed to get our DPM2012 linked up to our recovery vault with azure I on my server I have a D drive which I've used for the azure cache however now my online backups are failing because the drive is almost full does my cache have to be almost the same size as what my used space is which currently sits at 6,439.11GB can this cache folder contents be deleted ?

 

not a lot on the web about this any help would be greatful
