Minecraft for Education

I want to buy minecraft. Problem is, we can only use LA approved suppliers and the MinecraftEdu company is based in 'Murica and apparently we can't buy from them.

 

Has anyone faced this hurdle?

 

I am a supplier for a different school in the same LA, but when the bursar searched for my company she couldn't find it. I was gonna buy it and invoice the school...

 

Anyone faced this issue?

 

I've tried Mine Test, but it just crashes ALL THE TIME. No idea what I am doing wrong with that!

 

Are there any other alternatives?

Probably just be easier to use petty cash or the school cash card if they have one.

Can only do a maximum of £25 for petty cash. No card unfortunately. The council pay for the school's invoices you see.

I'd ask finance to figure it out then since they're being a PITA!

Which I'm guessing doesn't help.

 

 

Could be worth getting on to them to see if there's another option. [Maybe a nice supplier here would act as a proxy/reseller?]

 

 

Le EDIT: just looked at their FAQs... no reselling under any circumstances.

I had to buy this myself & petty cash the school back - Kinda annoying, but it was the only way we could get hold of it

I've only asked one. I'll have to ask others. I reckon that might be the way. I should be a supplier though. That's what's confusing me! So random. Might wait until September and get it sorted then. Or persist with mine test and get it working...
