Apple VPP enrollment

To pay for sins in a previous life, I have to deploy multiple apps to some ipods/ipads - so instead of just a school apple ID I thought I'd try the VPP program.

 

However, I can't enrol with the apple ID I'm already using, and as its tied to the email address of the school I'm a bit knackered as to pick another one!

 

Is there no way to use an existing apple ID to enrol for the vpp? All I get is "Your current Apple ID is not eligible for using Apple Deployment Programmes"

no you need 2 unique email addresses. Just set up a gmail account for it or if you have access add another account to your existing email service

Agree with Sted. I think I have one email for the Administrator account in VPP (so I can download the token for our MDM etc) and one "facilitator" email ID so I can actually purchase the apps etc.

 

It's a minefield! I have managed to get apps to now silently push using VPP and Meraki so things are improving since the dark days of imaging every ipad with configurator each time you wanted to add an app. Keep at it!

I've set up yet another alias for myself and started from scratch! I've just experimented with Meraki so far, but I think thats the way I'll go!
