edutech4schools Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I purchased 8 Windows 8.1 laptops for a primary school recently and noticed some odd things happening such as WSUS only displaying 1 of them at any one time. I think they may all have the same SID (not sure). I have just gone to run sysprep on one but that comes back and says it can not run on an OS that has been upgraded. Not sure what to try next. Thanks
edutech4schools Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 OK I have got round the sysprep issue and will report back my findings.
computer_expert Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Try this: PsGetSid Run it with no parameters (from the command line) and it should give you the machine SID. 1
