Andrew_C Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Don't know how many will know, but today's factoid... Better road bike tyres have a harder compound in the centre, and softer, stickier rubber up the sides. Track bikes use 3, depending on the ratio of left hand/right hand bends.
