Millsi Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I think I recall a thread before the new year referring to the '$' symbol in passwords. Am I right in thinking that there is a problem if the password includes this symbol and authenticating credentials to install the Solus3 agents? Or was this something else...
matt40k Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 The current s3 encryption fekks any passwords with $ in, i.e. sims database passwords, so connection will fail. Weird no-one spotted it sooner, could of sworn Capita used $im5Rulz as the default SA password 1
synaesthesia Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 /me writes down "P@$$w0rd" as a likely suspect. For reasons. 1
