These are the single biggest annoyance ever. (In my opinion)

 

I removed 5, yes 5 seperate ones of these off a staff members laptop today. There was the google toolbar, the MSN one, the Yahoo one, something to do with a cannon scanner and another odd one that looked a bit sus.

 

Oh, and the teacher was wondering why her laptop was so slow! Going to give it a good proper spyware scan tomorow, bet it's got loads!!

yes, we have this for most staff, but the teacher in question was one of our 'elite' few who have local admin rights to their laptops for reasons better known to themselves (orders come from above, so we have to do it :( )

 

This policy may be up for review if I find a significant amount of spyware on it tomorrow. We've actually kind of been waiting for this to happen so we've got a stronger argument against it, rather than saying what 'could happen' we've got evidence that it will happen.
