[ms office - 2010] Application forms - Word

Hi folks,

 

I am investigating an issue with our Applications forms that are hosted on our website. The issue is that when you type in the text boxes etc the formatting all goes skew whiff. This is a common problem as I have had this happen when applying for jobs myself.

 

I'm sure it is because the person has not set the document up properly in the first place. I have done a bit of investigation work myself and I think the form needs to be designed using the Developer Mode. Is this right? Does anyone have any top tips how to design a form with the correct formatting as I'm stumped from this point onwards.
