richhill25 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hi, I'm working at a school and we have a trolley of 30 ipad 2s. All but three of them are connected to the wifi without any problems. Three just won't connect, it just has the spinning wheel next to the wifi name. I've deployed an image from apple configurator which applies all of the wifi and proxy settings and nearly all are working fine. Anyone else had a similar issue? thanks
richhill25 Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 the three ipads aren't getting an IP address at all. The others are connecting fine and getting IP addresses from the DHCP
Dkeen94 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Have you tried a fresh install of the OS? Have you ever had any problems with these iPads doing this before?
richhill25 Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Just had a look into the DHCP settings. It could be a possibility that the scope isn't big enough, I've got a feeling I've run out of IP addresses. I'll have a go at extending the scope and report back. thanks
richhill25 Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 That was the problem. All fine now. Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated
