The bees are back :)

OK, this is just an excuse to post a pic I took on Friday usign the camera @sted sold me a little while back.

I've seen quite a few queens fresh out of hibernation over the past coupel of weeks, but thi sis the first 'small' been I've really seen up close this year.

It was taken on our rather extensive fratillery patch and yes, I need a better macro lens
