install Android SDK and Java SDK on ICT Suite

Dear all,

I have been asked to install Android + Java SDK on ICT Suite. All the computers are Intel Core i5, 3gb RAM, Windows 7 operating system and are member of Windows domain.

All the users has roaming profile + folder redirection been enabled.

 

Is there anything I need to worry about installing SDK on domain based computers with roaming profiles ? Does users need to have admin rights to local computer and to C: drive.

May I ask why you have been asked to put that on? Simply for the fact that the kids can get apk files from the net and load them up (games predominantly)

He wants to teach Java? What age group do you have?

probably yes; age group 11-18

you'll struggle to get anyone below 13-14 interested, as it is at that point they start to do PC gaming properly from my experience of dealing with kids, so from year 9 onwards not a bad idea.
