dhoward_westexetc Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Has anyone managed to successfully get the SMART Notebook Document writer to work in SMART Notebook 11.4? Since version 10.8 I seem to have endless woes with this in testing successive version of SMART Notebook, basically it will get to about 25% before it will crash out with an error message "unable to convert some files. The XPS file converter failed". Some versions would work, others do not. My test setup: - Windows 8.1 Pro x64 + latest updates. - SMART Notebook 11.4 Dec 2013 version - Flash Player ActiveX and Plugin 12.0.0.44 - .NET Framework 4.5.1 + all updates. - XPS Services installed. Anyone with any hints?!! Thanks !
dhoward_westexetc Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Further to this, it is even stranger than I thought. Windows 7, with the same .NET Framework version, and it works fine! Windows 8.1 - crashes straight out.
singsc Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 We were receiving this error in a couple classrooms with Windows 7, Notebook 11.4, .NET Framework 4.5.1. I changed the fonts and the error went away.
