IXL Maths Software

A school is asking about IXL in the USA. Has anyone heard of them.

 

They are requesting Pupil names and UPNs on a spreadsheet.

 

My instinct is to say no, there are plenty of alternative options I would think. I have emailed the Data Protection officer in the LA.

IXL math is organized by grade levels K-8 and aligned to state standards. I guess that's the reason why schools use it? My daughter's teacher uses beestar math. Any software is ok as long as it helps.

Yeah, we're a big fan of Beestar too. More useful to the kids and they like it more.
