I want to get rid of my Sanako language lab and replace with ipads????

My Sanako language lab is now more trouble than ever, it never seems to work.....and it looks a bit sad now with desks that are supposed to go up and down but don't as the mouse smashes the screen! Great....so getting rid of the computers would free up a much needed room and probably give fewer problems.....BUT a bit of a nightmare where I don't know to jump on the ipad wagon or go with HP tablets. No idea, and is it possible to secure these tablets to the desks!

 

Anyone tried the ipad thing yet in languages? Surely I can attach headphones and head off into the exciting world of "j'ai joué au foot....." with my year 11s?

 

Please help!
