How to make me feel smug

I'm not a smug person at all, but I was emailed a question from one of the schools I look after yesterday morning.

"Should we wait until our census has been cleared before we apply the SIMS update (autumn)?"

 

The exact moment I hit send with my reply (Yes, I always wait as long as is appropriate before applying SIMS updates to give Capita time to fix them), I got an automatic email from Solus3.

 

"SIMS Autumn Release 2 is now ready to download in Solus 3"

 

That did make me feel rather smug!

 

On a separate note, anyone know if Release 2 needs to go on top of the first, or will it update Summer as it is?

You can just update from Summer, did ours last night.

I'm confused. Isn't the Spring census stuff part of the Autumn upgrade, so the upgrade is needed to do the census?

Yes it is; census is due 16th so plenty of time to apply the update.
