Hi

New to this im running a windows 7 64bit system, amd 3 ghz, 4gb ram, 1gb video card. Have 20 ipcameras and they all need to run and video any where in the school, but i cant find software that will run on this system. what i would like is a system that i can go to without the system running at 100% on cpu and have some control over, and not crash out and reset cameras. help!!

We use Exacqvision here running on four servers with about 50 camera a piece. It barely touches the CPU since there is no transcoding going on with the camera streams; the cameras send in MPEG or H264 and that is directly written to the disk.

It's paid, but it's not much at all. The free stuff is generally all either crap especially for CPU usage (iSpy) or not exactly plug and play (zoneminder)

We got a little excited yesterday to find our Synology NAS had a built in CCTV app thingy which was absolutely awesome. Very dissapointed to find it only had a license for one camera and extra licenses cost more than the NAS did.
