TimJing Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I am trying to package this software for deployment. The install via MSI runs ok, but at the end, triggers a Symantec AV self healing. If the user dont have access to the original AV install source you get a prompt for the SAV10.MSI. I tested this with 2 different versions of Symantec AV and get the same results. I have contacted Smart Tech and no answers so far. Edited to add: This happens with the Teacher and Student MSI's Is anyone else getting this issue?
jumpinjamez Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 are you using the .msi from smart tech or your own? what version of SynchronEyes is it?
TimJing Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 Version 7, the newest build on the site and also a slightly older version on CD. Both give me the same issues after the install triggering the Symantec Self Repair. The MSI are from Smart tech, if you start their their installer file, you can find the MSI in USERNAME/local settings/app data/Product ID...
