i have set up a windows 7 pc that has a static ip of 192.168.100.50 so i can connect to my wireless controller in school which is on 192.168.100.1 with all the access points ranging from 192.168.100.1- 192.168.100.49. but my normal school dhcp is on 192.168.1.* range, so when i am connected on 100.50 i can connect to controller etc.. but what i want is also to have internet access which is via a proxy server on 192.168.1.1 port 8000 but if i input these details get no access only way is to change back to the 192.168.1.* or setting back to dhcp but then cannot connect to controller. hope you understand my predicament.

You need a route in your router to the prixy server.

"No access" in what way - you don't get any access to to your controller, or the Internet, or does something bring up a message saying "No access"? I'm guessing that you mean that when you have your PC set up with an IP address of 192.168.100.50 you can access your wireless controller but not the Internet. Check the netmask on your DHCP server - you probably want a mask of 255.255.0.0 so that every device in the range 192.168.x.x can see everything else.
