[windows software] Office 365 Student Advantage

I have heard schools with an agreement with MS can now offer up to 5 licenses to students for free by signing up to the student advantage program. This got released on Sunday.

 

After speaking to my account manager, i am a little bit confused about how the students get the software. I know they have to download it from office365 but what details do they use to sign in to office365 to get the software? The account manager said it gets added to the agreement in place.

 

We currently have office365 for students (plan 1) which is the exchange side of things. Would it be possible to link these accounts to the current accounts in office36

 

Has anyone gone down this route?
