reggiep Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Came in this morning and half user complaining they are not getting policies applying. Did a GPO modelling test and one DC is not applying gpos. Group Policy Infrastructure failed due to the error listed below. A device attached to the system is not functioning. Note: Due to the GP Core failure, none of the other Group Policy components processed their policy. Consequently, status information for the other components is not available. Additional information may have been logged. Review the application event log on the domain controller on which the simulation was run for events between 03/12/2013 08:56:13 and 03/12/2013 08:56:13. So I'm invetigating, but while doing so is there any way to force all users to other DC in the mean time? Thanks
reggiep Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Panic over. A new policy had been created with loopback, that seemed to cause the whole issue, by my fellow techy. He came in and spotted it straight away!
