Got issues with slow speeds using the existing b/g card in our netbooks, is changing the mini pci-e card to an n version possible/worth while or would just getting a usb micro wifi adaptor be just the simplest option?

Simplest, and they work well, but I can't help thinking that there's lot of potential for them to get detached from the machine.

I've had one of these for a few years now: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-7811UN-150Mbps-Wireless-Adapter/dp/B003MTTJOY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1385396421&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+wi-fi+card%5D

It's been a lifesaver at times and for less than £10 is well worth the pennies, and there are cheaper ones out there as well!

Looking to get one with the same chipset for testing after finding the Realtek chipset so far out performs others I have tried.
