issue with ISA 2006

 

nothing has been chance since all was working yeasterday and i come in this morning isa complaining that the Category: Published server certificate error

Error details: 0x80090322 - The target principal name is incorrect.

 

i have a wild card SSL on our ISA box external and internal listener our mail server has the SSL cert and that is all ok

 

and i have created new rules but thats not worked either

 

tried chaning the iis host header on sharepoint and nope natta any suggestions would be great

I suggest double-checking that all the fqdn / ips that the certificate looks for are correct.

have done fixed now i had to change to a different ssl certif and change the rule in isa and the hostname in iis very strange i think their is an underlying issue with the isa server anyway so im going to upgrade (long over due) to UAG
