7UD9 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I'm currently struggling with the email notifications (for admins of the booking system). I'm receiving the following error: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure We're having a few issues with the cert on our exchange box, is there any way of circumventing this? Thanks
nickbro Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Hmm, that's an odd error, where is that coming up from?
7UD9 Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 Sorry, I was a bit vague there.. I'm actually getting that error in the Helpdesk when submitting a new ticket. I was using that to test the SMTP settings. When I book a room I don't get any errors but I don't get any emails through either. Event viewer doesn't show anything for the room bookings email. Thanks
nickbro Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Ok, I'll look into it, looks like the certification checks on the SSL SMTP aren't liking the certificate, may need to add code to ignore cert warnings
7UD9 Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 Hi Nickbro Have you had a chance to look at this? Thanks
7UD9 Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Many thanks! Where do I place these? HAP root?
7UD9 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 When I place those in the bin folder it breaks the booking system, no bookings show at all, just a blank white space. Replacing the original .dlls results in my bookings reappearing. I can't really afford to spend any more time on HAP, I don't mean to sound unappreciative, I think you're doing an excellent job and have made an excellent solution, especially considering there is no cost for us, but for our circumstances there is a little too much for me to do to get it working at the level and reliability I need it to. Thanks for all of your help, I do appreciate it.
nickbro Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Sorry about that, it is ALPHA code, will do some more testing when I get a chance
