Enrolling Mac's

Hi All

 

We have just purchased some new iMac's along with a Mac Mini with Server. Everything is up to date and running Mavericks. We have created a master image which we have deployed through Deploy Studio. Everything is working fine except we are having issues getting the Mac's enrolled onto profile manager on the Mac Server.

 

When we enroll an iMac it will show up as 'New Device' in profile manager instead of its actual name. If we leave the client mac's on eventually one by one very very slowly they enroll at silly times such as 1:30am. It only enrolls one at a time and so far we have only managed to get two enrolled. We have got another 25 to enroll but if we leave them to sort them selves they could take days at the rate its going.

 

Has anybody had a similar issue or have any idea's what our problem could be? Sure it's something silly, but we have tried everything we see possible to resolve the issue.

I had this it turned out to be our firewall blocking the ports the mac mini was trying to get out on. Ports should be in the profile manager guide manual iirc
