Can I change exchange public calendar to fitt our school time table display?

Hi,

I would like to create a shared clander for booking ICT rooms. But instead of it appearing like a normal exchange calendar I would like it to be just as our lessons periods.

Lesson 1, 2, ...

 

Has anyone know how to do it?

I've seen this questions asked several times before, and I've never seen anyone manage it. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I'm pretty sure this can't be done with Exchange.

What MIS do you use? Its not using shared calendars but we use Room Booking System - Online Room Booking Software which syncs with SIMs every night to show all the classrooms available but also shows them as closed if the exams officer needs to book them out for exams etc.

 

If your interested drop them a call / email and they arrange a free trial period for us to take a look at it. we originally only intended to use it for ICT rooms but we now have staff using it book specific teaching rooms if needed. We can use it to book a room out to do maintenance.

You should be able to modify the Work Hours in Outlook - Change your work hours and days in Outlook - Communicator - Office.com

 

Whether you can do this on bulk I am not sure (maybe via registry although it would be HKCU I guess).

 

But that will just choose the Working hours to be displayed not chop it up into the sections of the school day.

room/equipment mailboxes come to mind. However, without knowing all requirements cannot fully say that it's what you need.

Thanks for all reply, in case I didn't make my self clear I would like to have a public calendar that doesn't show the time as normal e.g. 10:00 , 10:30, 11:00 ...

But Period 1 8:45-9:40, period 2 9:40-10:35 and staff can select when they are using the ICT rooms easily.
