tben2505 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Hi guys - I'm looking at the ways in which SIMS can report on data - the individual reporting seems to be good - but I'm wondering if it's possible to integrate averages into them. So for example, an individual report for Barry Smith in 9BE, showing his test scores for all of his subjects. This is easily done by collecting on marksheets, the data from staff, then creating a template with a row for every subject, and ticking "Hide Rows with No Results". However, if I want another column next to Barry's results, which show the average for his year/class - how would I do it? I appreciate I could just get the teachers to enter this - but on a broader point - there would be a desire to create single, summative reports featuring average data for all subjects on one page, too, so is this possible? Cheers guys - you're all most helpful!! PS I'm talking about the latest version of SIMS - our old version is not relevant for this question! T
tben2505 Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 And, apologies, but is it possible in the latest versions of SIMS to have staff enter comments in Profile for reports and permit line breaks and even bullet points or other formatting? Cheers T
vikpaw Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I think both of what you want are possible. Profiles should manage the layout styles you want, and can pull assessment data in. You should look at the Performance Analysis module for analysing the data you have, and also Discover can do other analysis. All of which should be pulled through into a report.
tben2505 Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Tremendous, as always vikpaw. Cheers!
