Thin Client - Multiple Monitors

Hello everyone,

 

I am looking to drive about 25 LCD displays using a Thin Client.

 

Although this may seem like much - the content on all the displays is the same - which in my opinion - means that if the TC can handle one display without any video choppiness or lag, I can just replicate that signal and drive however many displays I want. Am I correct with this assumption?

so you want the same screen replicated 25 times if so just buy a (more than 1 probably) vga splitter with x outputs

Exactly, what I was thinking!

 

But would a thin client be able to drive an HDMI output with a 1080p video? If it can - then I can use a HDMI or DVI splitter.

 

I don't want to use VGA cables.

Could be messy. The HDMI signal would probably need boosting, for a start. How are you siting the screens? And what's the content you're displaying?

I am thinking of just a standard HDMI Splitter - that will replicate the signal into however many outputs I need. All these displays are within one room - not more that 50x50 feet.

 

The content is 1080p video - movie trailers etc.
