soveryapt Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Afternoon Folks Right, so I keep running out of space on my DropBox when using it to share files about and things, so I'm investigating my options and just wondering what everyone else uses / recommends in terms of cloud storage? I have a Google Drive with my legacy Google Apps account, I also have a SkyDrive account (again through legacy on Hotmail, so there's quite the bit of space there - but the Mac plugin wants to update more often than flippin' Adobe Flash! - not to mention Silverlight needing to update almost as often too - so I'm a little put off from using SkyDrive). The space needs ideally to have the ability to share to people and remove sharing as I wish or (even better) after a certain time scale. I use it mainly to share previews for client print work and such, and I have a certain area where I share instructions that clients get for their websites and things, so to be able to set those to be unavailable after a certain time would be great as then if they don't renew for the package that gets the instructions written and updated, the can't access the latest version etc. I think Box seems to fit all of the above, but I've never used it other than to receive promotional albums through for my DJ and Radio work, so I'm tempted to sign up for a free account and see how it functions, but figured I'd ask what everyone else makes use of. Cheers Andy
IrritableTech Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) I use a load of different things. Dropbox (I have about 12 gigs), SkyDrive (managed to save my 25 gig plan), Box (I got 50Gigs through an android promotion). I think Box is the one I use least - I don't like the GUI or app so much. Have you seen Copy? https://copy.com?r=Nu8oZe (Warning - affiliate link!) They give 15gigs free and 5 per referral (for both parties). Also tried Sugarsync and Pogoplug - but to be honest Dropbox is probably the best experience of them all - just a shame about the space available for free. Edited October 16, 2013 by IrritableTech

I'll take a look at that (and don't mind using the Affiliate link )
