Dell with 2 120Gb drives in running XP

I don't know much about RAID but I think it is the Mirror type

Wouldn't boot after 15 Updates apparently. Tried to do a Repair Reinstall, but seem to have a Dell Disc with XP Prof on it and not Home which the sticker says on the computer. Therefore it wouldn't do the repair.

Used a Linux disk to copy over a Restore Point from back in time to the Config folder in System32 - had trouble writing to one disk using this facility

Tried chkdsk /r using another XP setup disk and found no trouble - but which disk is this checking??????

I guess the mirror facility copies the main disk - how do I utilize the RAID facility to mend this darn thing assuming 1 disk might be OK ???

Wont let me attach Screenshots

OK

Thanks for reply - don't think that is applicable, as I can't boot into windows

Actually in safe mode, it sticks on a sys file from Avast, then blue screens

It is Intel Raid

Can I revert back to non raid without destroying any data

I have made an image of (what I think is) disk 1

Can't seem to do it with disk 2 as it says it needs to format it when plugged in via usb on another computer (used linux to read directories on it though)

Pressing Cntrl + I brings up the RAID window - not sure what to do next
