When I saw the headline I thought it was 3p for 100 miles but no!

To play devils advocate here, but when I was working for Lancs CC to claim any mileage back, we had to break down each journey to individual legs i.e from point a to point b, then point b to point c, regardless of how short that leg is.

This is what it looks like has happened here, especially as it was his admin staff filling out the form as required.

Again same as Dos Box, I claimed for everything I was entitled to, my pay was bad and I needed all the help i could get. Some people couldn't be bothered, I'm a tight arse!

Well if I'm travelling on behalf of my employer I claim all that I'm entitled to. I don't think it would be fair of me to criticise others for doing the same.

Yep another non-story. Unfortunately the BBC seem to be employing jounalists who should really be at the Sun/Sport. Shame really as in some ways the BBC is second to none.

its not just the bbc 24 hour news means they need to report anything now whether its news or not however badly researched it is
