Youtube Edu and subscriptions

I have a teacher who wants the 6thform to access youtube. I have managed to setup the smoothwall so that it re-directs to youtube education and can access the school's youtube page however they now tell me that they may need to views from the music channel vevo where most of the music videos are blocked.

 

I was wondering if i had the channel vevo to the list of subscriptions to the school's youtube channel, then 6thform might be able to use it.

 

Has anyone else come across this problem before?

Haha good luck with that, It would be great wouldnt it? The ONLY way is to add the videos into a playlist. Or you could try submitting the channel to be added to YouTube Edu but I doubt YouTube would add it as I don't see it being educational and I don't think they would either.

 

They really should add a Beta tag onto YouTube Edu.
