Hi there,

 

I'm just wondering if someone can just clarify the logging section.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Logon tracker (Live logons and Historic logs) - This is physical machines logging on and off using the logon / log off scripts. Where is this data stored if you do not use SQL?

Web Logs section - Is this meant to be for the actual use of the myfiles system or all systems? On mine this is blank and contains no data. How can i fix this?

Thanks for the clarification.

I have started to follow the SQL setup video but have got stuck at the users stage. You create the iis apppool user in SQL but we have a separate SQL server and this user does not exist. Is the only way to do this to create a domain user and use this for SQL and the Hap application pool?

You can use a different username by using a different connection string: .NET Framework Data Provider for SQL Server Connection Strings - ConnectionStrings.com
