It was on how do they do it last night I think it was.

 

Each vehicle has it's own set of batteries and when the central command senses they are getting low the vehicle is sent to the back area to a recharging station, they drive themselves into a bay and they have contacts on their wing mirrors and spring loaded plates come down to complete the circuit to charge them. Once they are charged off they go.
