Trapper Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 For anyone going for the RTM of 8.1 if you have an ASMedia USB 3 hub download the latest drivers from ASMedia/ASUSTek (October 2012). The ones with 8.1 (August 2013) will cause any USB drives attached to spin down, disconnect and then error. It's a great start!
Trapper Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 It's quite amazing I've gone back to dual boot Win 8.1 and Linux Mint, and I've had far more problems with bugs and issues with 8.1 than Linux! When did this happen? Linux became more out of the box user friendly than Windows?!
