MrMat Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Can it be done?! I've had a school contact me today advising that when they try to generate a OMR sheet for year 11 they are greeted with the following error: 'Errors occured while creating OMR sheet(s). No Supervisor present for Group: Curriculum Year 11.' I was always under the assumption that you cannot assign a supervisor to Curriculum Year groups? Or am I missing something? Why have this as an option within the exams module if it cannot be done? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Alex
CAM Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 You can assign supervisors in SIMS by going to Focus -> School -> Pastoral Structure -> Current Structure. Find Year 11, right click and add a supervisor / HOY.
MrMat Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 They have a supervisor/HOY allocated for year 11 on the pastoral structure however the error refers specifically to the curriculum year group. They are unfortunately two different things. If you go Focus -> School -> Pastoral Structure -> Current Structure -> Expand 'National Curriculum Year Taught In'. You will see Curriculum Year 11 however you cannot allocate a supervisor. I believe this is what's causing the issue.
MrMat Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Just in case anyone is interested. I had a response from Capita regarding this: 'As it is not possible to add a supervisor to a National Curriculum Year Group you will not be able to create an OMR sheet using this filter. You will need to select another group.' Why it's even an option within the Exams module then I do not know but there you go. 1
