Hi All

I am looking for a good set of Cordless digital phones (2 handsets) which I will be using in the office, Range needs to be good, as well as quality, and the most to me important is the battery life / standby. I have purchased many phones in the past and found that after 2 - 3 months of use the batteries go flat after half a day off the base unit. I am not in need of a answer machine.

Anyway based on the above I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations....

Thanks in advance.

Most phones run on 2.4Ghz and just because you don't notice doesn't necessarily mean it's not causing a problem.

Of course it's fine if the phone is 5Ghz or vice versa.

No I mean I did some substantial testing in my last work in these phones, I had a pedantic colleague who was like that. We used some quite nifty monitoring software and there was no recorded loss of signal strength or throughput as a result of using these phones.

Are you seriously telling me that a 2.4GHz telephone causes absolutely no effect on a 2.4GHz wifi network ?

Unless they are DECT, 5GHz or VoIP phones they will interfere with a 2.4GHz WiFi network.

lol. Clearly not.

In that case they don't run at 2.4GHz at all !

;) good that you know your stuff though, indeed they would interfere.
