iOS - Office365 IMAP Query

When I setup my iphone using the exchange option, all seems fine until I try and access folders created under my inbox... All folders display, but not emails are within.

If I opt to setup the iphone/ office 365 using manual server settings (imap/ smtp), all works fine except it doesn't provide me with a calendar sync.

 

Is this iOS or Office 365?
