HAP Active Directory Broswer issue

Hey all

 

I have just uninstalled HAP and reinstalled it using the latest version 9.1.0501.1430 an when I try to set up the Active Directory section in setup.aspx I get the following message. Unfortunately as soon as i click the red error message disappaers so I am unable to send a screen shot which shows the info behind the "Active Directory Browser" window.

 

I have followed the setup in the documentation.pdf and I'm using the same setup info as was working before.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should of been able to upgrade from the old version, if you'd backed up the App_Data folder. It's a known issue with some AD setups which HAP+ can't communicate with it

Thanks for you reply, I have had to restore the backup I had taken and it now works, can you explain the upgrade procedure for me as whenever I do it HAP+ just completely falls over!!

Major releases, it's everything except for the app_data folder

Minor releases, it's the upgrade zip which has the upgraded files needed.
