Hello Edugeek,

So recently I noticed I have outgrown my blackberry and got myself a nice 2nd hand Samsung note.

I am new to android but find it amazing, the first thing I did was upgrade it to 4.2.2 using something called paranoid android but now I am stuck, I want to be able to run a Linux distro on it, now the web says you can do this if you have a loop enabled kernel and certain apps installed and for the life of me I cannot get it working. I was hoping someone with Linux knowledge would lend a hand?

What I have done so far:-

installed terminal emulator

installed busybox

installed superuser

installed androidvnc

installed complete Linux installer

When I try and run my distro it says "unable to mound the loop device" ? any help.
