This went up yesterday on SupportNet.

I can't imagine there are (m)any people that export a spreadsheet and then sit on it for years, but if you use it as part of a regular import process, then this could be relevant.

Result Set GUIDs to the Assessment export / import files

In the SIMS Autumn 2013 release we are adding result set GUIDs to the Assessment export/import files, this will create a new version of the Assessment export files (Data Out)

We need to remove support for early versions of these files and are not planning test verification for any files produced prior to the Spring 2011 release.

If any of these earlier files are still in use they need to be imported and re-exported using a recent version (Post Spring 2011) of the software before the Autumn 2013 release is installed.

Thanks for posting this @vikpaw - I missed it on SupportNet and it might save a lot of hassle knowing this now!

Not sure how many people import/export results and so-on this way - are there many others out there?

I should have tagged in @LosOjos and @Dancer who no doubt have some clever routines or processes around this.

Thanks for the heads up Vik. Thankfully, years of writing my own utilities for other's software has taught me never to expect any bit of data I haven't physically created to remain constant and my code tries to reflect that! Still always handy to be aware of these changes though so thanks for flagging it up here :)
